Born June 1, 1956 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Will "Bill" Basinger and Ruby Lee Harwood
Basinger Tyson.A graduate of A.L. Brown High School, she had also attended Rowan CabarrusCommunity College. Pam had worked for Kimberly-Clark for the past 17 years and was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church inKannapolis. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Pam adored all of her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Jimmy Tyson.
Family members left to cherish her memory include her husband, Allen Blaine Ailshie, whom she married March 25,
1977; her children, Sarah Ailshie Overcash and husband, Greg, Allen Blaine Ailshie, Jr. and wife, Sara and son, John
Paul Ailshie, all of Salisbury; her brother, Jimmy Basinger and wife, Cindy of China Grove; sisters, Cheryl Jones and
husband, Larry, of Kannapolis and Peggy Pickeral and husband, Ronnie, of Davidson; her grandchildren, Davis Overcash
and Harrison and Brady Ailshie and nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Services: The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, from 4-6 p.m., at Linn-Honeycutt
Funeral Home in China Grove.A service to remember and celebrate Pam's life will begin at 6 p.m. in the funeral home
chapel, conducted by the Rev. Randall Ritchie, pastor, Eastwood Baptist Church.
