Born Sept. 1, 1930, in Cleveland, he lived there before moving to Wickliffe 49 years ago.
Eddie was a corporal during the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lift truck operator for 35 years at the General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Cleveland, retiring in 1987 after 35 years of service. Prior to that, he was employed as an ornamental iron worker.
Survivors are his wife, Joanne (nee Bracale); daughter, Karen (Joseph) Stratman; grandchildren, Ashley (Ben Pickering) Pucci, Michelle, Joseph Jr., and Edward Stratman; sister, Angeline Bellitto; and sisters-in-law, Mary (James) Hradesky, Loretta Kemski, and Earla (Shawn) O'Connell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvira and Egidio Pucci; sisters, Santina (Alfred) DeFlorentis, Josephine (Fred) Filocco, Evelyn (Rino) DeFlorentis and Clara (William) Adornetti; brother, Alex (Bea) Pucci; brothers-in-law, Sam Bellitto and James Kemski; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Loretta and Earl Bracale.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road (at Lander Road), Mayfield Heights.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at the funeral home. Father Martin Polito will officiate. Private inurnment will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
