Bo was born and raised in Jacksonville, the son of Christine Dearing and Inman Payne Crutchfield. He attended local schools after which he attended the University of Florida. Upon college graduation, he entered the US Navy, becoming a pilot. He was passionate about his flying. After active service, he remained in the naval reserves and retired at the rank of Lt. Commander. Bo then entered the securities business, ultimately retiring as a vice president of the William R. Hough Co. While working, he received his MBA from the University of North Florida. Bo was often seen walking on the streets of Avondale… we think he logged in 10,000 miles. He is survived by his daughter Mary Payne Stitt, and her husband Donald Kyle Stitt, his son, Charles McLane Crutchfield, Charlie’s wife Margaret, and their daughter Savannah, his daughter-in-law Allison Brundick Crutchfield, and her children, John, Gretchen and Peyton. He was predeceased by his son Inman Payne Crutchfield, III (Bo) and grandson Thomas McLane Crutchfield. He is also survived by his sisters Christine Keyser and Carol Lewis, a host of nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Bo, many cousins, and a wide variety of loyal friends. The family requests no flowers. If you prefer, a donation can be made to the Inman P.
