BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Alton McRae Honeycutt, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Russell Snider of First Assembly of God Church in Minden, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Alton was born on April 22, 1929, in Hope, AR to parents, Alton and Erma (England) Honeycutt, Sr. and entered into rest on Sunday evening, February 10, 2013. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Honeycutt was a member of First Baptist Church of Bossier City and a retiree of Best Foods with 30 plus years as a sales rep.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Coile) Honeycutt, and his parents. Left to cherish his memory is brother, James W. Honeycutt of Bossier City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
