Gall, William Joseph, born April 10, 1917 in Bridgeport, CT passed away peacefully February 14, 2013 in Scituate, MA. Son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Teshkowski) Gall of Slovakia. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 54 years, Veronica (“Vicky”) Hornyak Gall and his grandson, Ryan Flannery. He is survived by his son, William J. Gall, daughter-in-law Suzanne and granddaughter Erika of West Haven, CT, and his daughter Lynn (Gall) Flannery, son-in-law Sean, and grandchildren Griffin, Honor and Tess Flannery of Scituate, MA and dear friends Josie and Gino DiGirolamo of Pembroke, MA.
Mr. Gall served as a sergeant in the US Army in World War II in North Africa and Italy and was the recipient of two bronze stars for meritorious service.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 18 from 9am-10:30am in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Nativity at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Scituate.
