Lee Charles Weber, age 81, of Plant City, FL passed away on February 16, 2013. Lee was born on September 17, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH to Charles and Ruth Weber. Survivors include his sister, Jean Schmitt and brother-in-law Stanley; nephews, Steven and David Schmitt; niece, Sally Keene; three grand-nieces, Dr. Holly Schmitt, Bonnie Melson, and Sara Collins, three great-great-nephews, Luke Melson, Grant Melson, and Thor Collins.
Mr. Weber graduated from Wyoming High School in 1949 and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy in 1953. He then entered the United States Coast Guard and served at Cape May, NJ until 1955. Mr. Weber served on the Wyoming City Council and was elected Mayor in 1979, serving until 1983. Lee spent most of his retirement years in Cape May, NJ moving to Lakeland, FL in 2005.
A private service will be held in Cincinnati, OH in the summer. Inurnment will be at Oakhill Cemetery in the family plot. Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, 225 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, OH 45215, or LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609.
