Raymond J. Fisher, 87, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on February 17, 2013. Ray was born to Raymond and Mary Fisher (Nee: Mullen) and raised in Hamilton, NJ. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII and a member of the VFW, A.O.H. and N.J.E.A. Ray was well known as a bartender at Jo-Jo’s Tavern in Mercerville, NJ, and worked for Princeton Herald as a printer and the Hamilton Town Board of Education as head custodian. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Leona Fisher, Marie Stepowany and Eileen Sherratt. He is survived by his loving wife, Carole A. Fisher (Nee: Ferrari), son, Gary (Laura) Fisher, daughter, Coleen Sides, step-daughter, Sharon (Rick) Hillman, sister, Clare (Larry) Berger, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ray will be missed dearly by all those who loved him. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Hamilton, New Jersey.
