Albert Lee Bittle, Sr., 59, of Nashua, NH passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 in the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. He was born March 4, 1953 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Hubert and Addie Catherine (Underwood) Bittle.
Mr. Bittle grew up in New Haven. He then moved to Boston where he lived for 25 years, and has spent the last 18 years in Nashua. He retired from UPS after 25 years with the company. Mr. Bittle enjoyed fishing, cooking, his casino trips to Las Vegas and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an outgoing man who always had a smile on his face and was happiest when he was taking care of everyone else.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years; Catherine (Mitchell) Bittle of Nashua, two sons; Albert Bittle, Jr. of Belmont, NH and Adam Bittle of Nashua, a daughter; Camissa Alford and her husband Antwoine of Nashua, by six grandchildren; Allen Sanford, Jr., Aliya Haith, Antwoine Williams, Jr., Ashea Bittle, Jaden Robinson and Acari Alford and by a brother; Allen Bittle in Louisiana. He was predeceased by his brother; Alvin Bittle.
Funeral services were held at 12:00pm Noon on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. The family greeted friends Saturday from 11:00a.m. until the service at noon in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
