Robyn Hodges-Loeve passed away from cancer on February 21, 2013. Born in Georgetown, Texas on October 20, 1947, she is remembered fondly by her daughters, Jennifer and Raye, husband Alvin Loeve, brothers Ray and Mark, sister Scottie, and grandchildren Laura, Braden, and Brad. Robyn was preceded in passing by her parents, Mary Nell and Ray Hodges.
Robyn’s devotion to her children defined her life. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas. Raye holds a Bachelor degree in biology from Sam Houston State University.
Robyn was a 1966 graduate of Georgetown High School. She attended St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Her professional career included public service as a Department of Human Resources counselor for the State of Texas. After 9/11, she was instrumental in developing the Lockheed Martin airport security program providing training to hundreds of airport screeners throughout the United States. Most recently, Robyn deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan with International Logistics Solutions providing training and mentoring to Afghan Air Force officers and enlisted personnel.
Services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
