She was a native of Church Point, LA and a resident of Westlake since 1951. She was also a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She loved working in her yard and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for Levines Department Store and also worked for Broussard’s Supermarket and Marcantel’s Supermarket.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Wallace Joseph Briscoe; parents, Louis Pellerin and Lezida Smith Pellerin; her sisters, Lillian Thibodeaux, Yvonne Pellerin and Mildred Faul; granddaughter, Rhonda Anderson.
She is survived by her son, Kerney James Briscoe of The Woodlands, TX; daughters, Gloria Bellard of Shreveport, LA and Norma Peveto of Bridge City, TX; loving nephew, Milton Faul of Lafayette, LA; brother, Euel Pellerin of Lake Charles; sister, Vivian Daigle of Church Point, LA; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Her service will be 3pm, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Visitation will begin Monday, 3pm-9pm with a rosary at 6:30pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake and resume 10am until service time. Pallbearers will be Corey Briscoe, Kevin Bellard, Kurt Bellard, Scott Anderson, Milton Faul and Chad Smith. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
