Candy Adams, 42 entered into eternal rest, suddenly at home in Stratford, California Saturday, March 2, 2013. Candy Adams leaves his wife of 6 years; Maria Rose Torres, stepson; Adrian Zaragoza, mother; Mary Louise Murphy and his brother; Claude Adams. Candy is especially missed by his dear caregivers and friends, his family; Edna & Calvin Lowery of Stratford, California.
Candy Adams was born in Visalia, California, where he lived with his parents; Cleveland & Mary Louise Adams. There he attended grade school and then continued on to Mt. Whitney High School where he participated on the wrestling team and really enjoyed his P.E. class in high school and graduated in 1988 then moved on to College of the Sequoias for one year. As a teenager, Candy worked at the Visalia Theater where he gained lots of friends and enjoyed his job. Candy Adams was a respectful, kind and loving person who took pleasure talking to everyone. Some of Candy’s life’s passions were reading comic books prior to losing his eye sight. He also really liked video games and watching football and wrestling. While Candy lived in Visalia he attended Second Baptist Brotherhood Church, where he taught Sunday school.
Candy loved his Boston terrier; Pepper. Candy moved to Hanford California, where he lived for more than eight years. There he met his Caregiver; Edna Lowery and family and became a great part of her family. Candy Adams lived with the family until his departure.
Candy Adams is survived by his Mother; Mary Louise Beasley and her husband, Therman Ray Beasley, Brother; Claude Adams, Wife; Maria Rose Torres and Stepson; Adrian Zaragoza, Three Nieces; Lashira Adams, Shamyia Little and Cynthia Adams, One Nephew; Clyde Adams, Jr., Stepsisters; Michele Nelson, Letitia Beasley and Stepbrothers; Alan, Michael, Vincent, Larry, Ray Beasley and many others. Candy also leaves behind Edna & Calvin Lowery and their family.
Candy Adams joins his father Cleveland Adams and his oldest Brother; Clyde Adams in eternal rest. May God be with you.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. all at People's Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591.
