Glen Alma Clark, 79, returned to his Heavenly Father peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2013. He was born August 10, 1933 in Blackfoot Idaho to Lovina Parker and Parley Gower Clark. He graduated from Tooele High School, served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Utah Air National Guard as a MSgt. Glen married RaNay Howell, they had three daughters and were later divorced. He married Norma Jeanne Warnick in 1979 and they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Glen’s occupations included being a barber, salesman, letter carrier and most recently as a tour guide. He was an active member of the Valley View 11th ward serving in numerous positions, including a full-time mission with Norma in Rochester, New York. Glen was a proud member of the Sons of Utah Pioneers and the NCO-AGA. He loved to travel, play games, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his devoted companion of 33 years, Norma, his children Lisa (Tom Brooke); Jaynie (Dean Williams); Fay (Art Radford); Bryan (Jill) Potts; Janae (Sid Jeffs); Raelynn Potts; Dana (Travis Scheel); Kara (Lewis Black); and Jorel (Emily Bradley) Potts, 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Dyle Clark and Lynn (LaRee) Clark. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View 11th Ward, 1925 East Gunderson Lane, Holladay. Viewing on Friday March 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. or one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Marks Hospital for their excellent care in Glen’s final days. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
