Patricia Parrish Kemper, 86, of Mobile, AL, formerly of Atlanta, GA, passed away on March 11, 2013. Mrs. Kemper was born in Fulton County, GA, the daughter of the late Frank Stewart Parrish and the late Nellie Mae Johnson. She was the wife of the late Jay Clarke Kemper, Jr. who died in 2004. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Journalism. She retired from the State Department Foreign Service Division in the mid-1970s. Mrs. Kemper was an avid writer and passionate about being charitable. She is preceded in death by her only brother, George Dallas Guess, II. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Abrams Guess, of Marietta, GA; nieces, Patty Hall and her husband Steve of Fayetteville, GA, and Kitty Burke and her husband John of Marietta, GA; one nephew, Mike Guess and his wife Brenda of Honey Brook, PA; a great niece, Rebecca Hall of Fayetteville, GA; great nephews, Kenny Hall of Fayetteville, GA, Chris Hall of Orlando, FL, and Michael Wynn of Nashville, TN; as well as many beloved and dear extended family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home at 3155 Dauphin Street. A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Flowers officiating.
