Aronson, Edna Mann, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She attended the University of Alabama and began her career with Capital Airlines, which became United Airlines as a flight attendant, residing in Florida. After 41 years of service, she retired and moved to Alabama with her husband, Charles, to be near her family. She loved and followed the Alabama football. She had charter flights with the Alabama football team during the Bear Bryant era. She will always be remembered as an avid football fan on game days. Edna loved to shop, loved everyone and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed. Roll Tide!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulius & Inez Mann; husband, Charles Aronson; sisters, Sara Moss, Ruth Mann, Linda Short, and Wilma West; and brother, Larry Mann. She is survived by her sisters, Mildred “Julie” Bunn, Eloise Standard (Gene), Charlotte Hoops(Roy); brothers, Bobby Mann (Mary) and Tommy Mann (Dianne); brothers-in-law, Ronald Short and Fred West; and a host of nieces and nephews.
