Deborah Ann Tudor passed away on Sunday morning, March 24, 2013.
She was born in Watseka, Illinois, on August 19, 1946. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife. She loved cooking, gardening, and stained glass crafts. Always active, Deborah was a certified S.C.U.B.A. diver, and certified volunteer firefighter, serving as the first female Fire Chief for the Lloyd Volunteer Fire Dept. She was also the first female Director of the Tallahassee Harley Owners' Group (HOG) and enjoyed long rides on her Road King, including a cross country trip to Canada.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Beam and her father, Harold Beam.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ron; her sons, Darell Gingrich (Brian), Darin Gingrich (Laura); grandson, Drew; and granddaughter, Nicole, or as Deborah called her, "Miss Lillie"; as well as numerous friends and neighbors. Her tenacity and spirit for life serve as a model for her survivors.
The family expresses gratitude to local Tallahassee Stroke Support Groups for helping Deborah through difficult times.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be considered for your favorite charity .
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday (March 27,2013) at 3:00 p.m. at Culley's Riggins Road Chapel. A reception will follow the service at the Funeral Home.
