Marilyn Anne (Reingold) Sullaway, 73, died peacefully on March 26 surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was the loving wife of Sheldon M. Sullaway with whom she shared a joyous 51 years of marriage. The daughter of Frank and Alice Reingold, Marilyn graduated from Beth Israel Hospital School of Nursing in 1960 as a registered nurse. After the birth of her children, Karen and Richard, Marilyn continued her career working side by side with Sheldon in his dental practice.
Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long time member of Temple Ner Tamid where she served many roles including Board of Director, Women’s League President, and member of B’nai B’rith. Her strong religious beliefs have helped her through many difficult periods in her life, and even with her declining health, she fulfilled one of her greatest dreams when she travelled to Israel in 2008.
In addition to her husband, Sheldon, Marilyn leaves behind her children Karen and Timothy Devaney and Richard Sullaway all of Danvers; her very special grandson James Devaney of Quincy; and her sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Gerald Monsein of Delray Beach, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She was also sister of the late Barbara Gallant.
