Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 3 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Cheryl was born January 18, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Raymond and Eugenia (Posthuma) Nyeholt. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. After moving to Bryan, Cheryl began working in Uniform sales at Keyser’s Hobby where she met her future husband and the father of their five children, Paul. Cheryl had only five children, however, she was a Mom to many more. She had an absolute love and passion for her grandchildren. While raising her family she volunteered her time, tirelessly, in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, C.A.S.A., and everything associated with her children’s academics and athletics. Mom’s infectious laughter and presence will be missed but never forgotten.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Watson; father, Raymond Nyeholt and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey D. and Opal Watson.
She is survived by her sons, Joshua Watson of Bryan, Michael Watson of Ft. Worth, Steven Watson of College Station; daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Kevin Berrigan of Magnolia, Carrie and Jason Allen of Bryan; mother, Eugenia Nyeholt of Dublin GA ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Rick Cassee of Reston, VA., Barbara Courser of Round Rock, Tammi and Harry Whittaker of Mountville, PA.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Paula Nyeholt of Ortonville, MI., Craig and Beverly Nyeholt of Almont, MI., Raymond and Margaret Nyeholt of The Woodlands; four granddaughters, Madelene, Katelene, Avery and Elliotte.
