Francis J. “Jack” Bremerkamp, 85, passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4th, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
Jack was born August 23rd, 1927 in Jefferson City, Missouri, son of Henry and Sarah (Stogsdill) Bremerkamp. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Merchant Marines. In 1948 he married Tillie Millsap and they had three loving children who survive, Dan (Marie), Steve (Becky) and Jackie. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Jack retired from Lake City in 1984 as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge. Jack loved to fish and was a master craftsman. He could build anything.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward and sister Jessie.
