BAYLESS, Robert H., age 65 of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Teresa C. Bayless. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Cheryl Bayless; son, Robert M. Bayless; daughter and son-law, Lisa C. Bayless-Hunter and Robert Hunter; grandsons, Dylan and Colin Hunter; mother in-law, Mary Johnson; brother in-law and sister in-law, Doug and Ruth Johnson; close friends, Mike Burns, Ron Lewis and Walter Ward, and numerous other close friends and family. Bob was in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War and retired from Bauer Roofing. He was a respected and accomplished bowler in the Dayton area rolling seven perfect games and winning several city tournament titles over the years. More recently Bob became an avid golfer enjoying nothing more than playing in his Tuesday golf league with his Beavercreek Moose Lodge #73 friends. Bob will be remembered for his competitive spirit, quick wit, sense of humor, and the ability to make people laugh, he will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Mt Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 until the time of services on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association.
