Ercelle Skipper Middlebrooks, 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, at Pine Pointe Hospice. Services will be held at Liberty United Methodist Church on Friday, April 26 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Bob Shell officiating. Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. The family requests that donations be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 6511 Houston Road, Macon 31216 or Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.
Mrs. Middlebrooks was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Annie Ruth Howe and Franklin Skipper . She is predeceased by her husband Douglas E. Middlebrooks. Mrs. Middlebrooks was a homemaker and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and her Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her children; Marsha Middlebrooks (Neil) Creter, Macon; Nancy Middlebrooks (Donnie) Davidson, Macon; Stephen Douglas (Karen) Middlebrooks, Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Stacey (Mike) Kane, Kelly (Foster) Williamson, Jeff (Meredith) Middlebrooks, Kris (Nathan) Graves, Brian (Laura) Davidson, Kale (Cathay) Davidson; eleven great-grandchildren; her brother, Douglas Skipper, Macon; and two sisters; Jeanette Talley, Macon and Sara Whitten, Macon.
The family will be at the residence of Nancy and Donnie Davidson, 155 Glen Eagles Court.
