LEON FELDT; Zichronam Livrachah May his memory be for blessing. Born August 8, 1927 in Houston, TX. Enlisted US Navy in WWII and served on USS Hornet. Graduated Baylor University, Served USAF as an Auditing Officer in Korean War and was awarded letter of commendation and 2 Bronze stars. Earned a Masters in Accounting from Wharton School of Business. He taught at Texas Western, Private CPA, Utility Commissioner for Ray Salazar, Licensed Insurance Agent, Honorary Deputy Sheriff, Member Temple Mt. Sinai and Elected to Board of Trustees. Loved Horses, Riding, Hunting, Fishing and Flying. Licensed Private Pilot. Entered Masonry in 1968. El Maida Shrine Clown, Past Master Coronado Lodge, Certified Masonic Mentor. Emeritus of National Sojourners and passionate in getting high school boys and girls to attend “Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge” annually. Survived by wife Judy; son Scott Feldt, daughters, Shelli and Staci, Stepsons Marc Cohn and Lew Cohn, Grandchildren, Edward and Renaye Feldt, Ari and Stacey Cohn, Madeline and Rachel Cohn, Josh Burk; Brother Sam Feldt, Dog Shaina and Numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held on Sunday April 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Congregation Mount Sinai Cemetery 3911 Gateway West El Paso, TX 79903. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West.128 N.
