Ron Wingfield, 69, of Barling, died May 5, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born June 24, 1943 in Booneville, AR to the late Clifford and Bessie McCoy Wingfield. He was the owner of Southwest Imaging, a member of Community Bible Church and a former Barling City Director. Ron was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife Grace; three children he loved and cared for as his own, Christina Rankin and her husband Derrall of Barling, Jason Fiori and his wife Brandee of Russellville, AR and Tammy Paschal and her husband Alan of Corsicana, TX; a sister Beverly Carolan of Booneville; his brother, Noble Wingfield of Booneville and seven grandchildren, Caeleigh, Ashleigh, Jaxson, Braelyn, Wesley, Chase and Chance. He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jane. Funeral services for Ron will be 10:00AM Thursday, May 9 at Community Bible Church with Pastor Kevin Thompson officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00PM Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial of ashes will be at Carolan Cemetery at a later date. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken and Neal Gilbreth, Ron Fiala, Tim Church, Phil Wear and Kevin Cauthon.
