Edward E. Frank, 79, of KCK, passed away July 17, 2013. Graveside services with Honors will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1st at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd., Leavenworth, KS 66048.
Edward was born January 13, 1934 in KCK to Arthur C. and Nova S. (Elam) Frank. A lifelong KC area resident, he graduated High School and attended Donnelly College, where he graduated with a degree in History. Edward served our country as a Marine in the Korean War and was discharged honorably for his service. He loved history and was always reading or watching the news and History channel. Ed was a member of the Cathedral of St. Peter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nova Frank; his brothers, Jim, John and George Frank as well as his two nieces, Joyce Gibson and Kathy Frank.
Ed is survived by his niece Debbie Williams and her husband Jack of KCK; nephew John Frank and his wife Danielle of KCK; many great-nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
