Sisco, Chester M.C., age 87, of Dayton, Ohio passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, August 17, 2013. He was born in Muddy Pond, Tennessee on August 25, 1925 to Lonzo and Lona (Swallows) Sisco, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Burris Sisco. Chester is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Doris I. (Phillips) Sisco; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Patty, Jerry and Cindy, Dennis and Debbie; two sisters, Rosalee Stepp and Effie Mae Campbell; a brother, Willard Sisco; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Sisco, James Sisco, Jr., Jason and wife, Jackie Sisco, Sara Rae Sisco; 3 great-grandchildren, Cole, Chrissy and Ryan; a great-great granddaughter, Willow and numerous nieces and nephews. Chester retired after many years of service with General Motors. Chester and Doris enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Lake Cumberland for over 50 years, where he loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013, from the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Pastor David Greer, his great-nephew will be officiating. Interment will follow in Byron Cemetery.
