Mr. Miltner was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Sapp Miltner. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Frank L. and Ethel Crowe Miltner. He was a proud graduate of The University of Notre Dame, earning a degree in Chemical Engineering. He served with the U. S. Navy during World War II earning the Victory Medal, the American Area Campaign Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal. Mr. Miltner was a chemical engineer with DuPont retiring after forty years of service. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4074 Chambers Road, Macon, GA 31206.
Mr. Miltner’s hobbies and interests include bridge, the stock market, and golf, including having four verified HOLES-IN-ONE.
He is survived by his children, Mary (Randall) Copeland of Allentown, PA, Kris (Suzie) Miltner of Birmingham, AL, Tim (Libby) Miltner of Atlanta, GA and Eric (Laura) Miltner of Atlanta, GA and eleven grandchildren.
