Aniceto Malacara Carreon, age 93, joined our savior Jesus Christ in eternal rest on September 4th 2013. He is survived by his daughters Rita and husband Jeff Bofferding, Sandra and husband Alex Torres, Gladys and husband Tony Reyes; sons Elmo and wife Carol Carreon, Hector and wife Raquel Carreon, Sam and wife Beatrice Carreon, Benny and wife Norma Carreon. Preceded in death by his wife Rita and two sons Rudy T. Carreon and Albert Carreon along with his parents Celedonio and wife Josepha Carreon. He was the youngest of 7 siblings with four sisters and two brothers, and was a proud grandfather to 21 grand kids and 40 great grand children. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enlisted on February 9th 1942 at Ft. Sam Houston and served with Company E, 134th Infantry in WWII before being Honorably discharged on October 17th 1945 with a Purple Heart for wounds he sustained during the invasion of Normandy. A visitation will begin, Monday, September 9, 2013, 5:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Tuesday, September 10, 2013, 10:00 am for a 10:30 am mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church with interment to follow First Memorial Burial Park. “You will be missed but not forgotten, you're in good hands now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and your wife Rita who you were married to for 58 wonderful years, may you rest in peace.”
