YEAGER, Donald E, 90, passed away at home surrounded by his family on September 10, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Helen (Wilson) Yeager, son Michael Yeager (Tamara), daughter Becky Creech (Vince), daughter Jane Yeager, son Steve Yeager (Jean), son-in-law Michael Erisman, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, cousin Bud Fleischman and dear friend Andy Brockman. He was born on April 14, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio. Graduated from Wilber Wright High School Class of 1942. Served in the Navy during WWII as a plane captain for a F6F Hellcat on the USS Monterey. Retired in 1986 from Norwood Engineering as a tool inspector after 46 years. He was a member of St. Albert the Great Parish, a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul, a member of The American Legion (Post 0598) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 9927). He is preceded in death by his father Frank Yeager, mother Genevieve (Gavey) Yeager, sister Mary Agnes (Yeager) Cable, loving daughter Peggy Lynn (Yeager) Erisman and grandson Kevin Creech. Visitation is 11 am to 12 noon Friday, September 13, 2013 at St. Albert the Great Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
