HUBER, William “Bill”, age 91, of Centerville passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born in the year 1922 in Covington, KY. Bill was a United States Army veteran of WWII; where he served as a medic in the First Calvary Division in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He received the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars, a Bronze Arrowhead Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Ribbon. He was a Chemical Engineer for many years with the Duriron Co., Inc. of which he retired. He had a love of gardening, cooking, and family. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia (Thresher) Huber. Bill is survived by his brother Robert (Janice) Huber, Sister Luella (Cloyd) Smith, niece Jill (Steve) Elliott, and nephews Scott (Joyce) Huber all of Cincinnati, Rob (Leslie) Huber of Holland, MI, and Randy (Chris) Smith, Brad Smith also of Cincinnati. In addition he is survived by his children through marriage, Sean (Karen) Logan of Findlay, OH, Kevin Logan, Damian Logan of Carmel, IN, Bridget Oaks, Maura (Rob) Dashewich, Tara Logan, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews. Bill will be truly missed by his army of Saguaro cacti. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429 at 1pm followed by a prayer service at 2pm.
