Anna Lois (Spear) Crater age 81 went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2013. She was born on June 25th, 1932 in Brighton, Ohio to Florence (Elder) and Elvin Spear. She was married to the late Thomas R. Miller and together they had 3 children. She was employed for 17 years at Miami Deposit Bank of Yellow Springs, Ohio and 20 years at national City Bank of Palmetto, Florida. She was a member of First Christian Church and Home City Chapter of O.E.S. She moved to Florida where she met and married the love of her life Robert E. Crater on July 2, 1981. They moved back to Ohio to be near their great grandchildren in 2003. She was a wonderful quilter and made quilts for each grandchild. But most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Spear, and three sisters Olive Caldwell, Sarah Belle Oberly, and Ruth Emma Dickinson. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, daughter Roxana (Mark) Lookabaugh of Springfield, sons Rex (Stephanie) Miller of Springfield, and Russell (Lindy) Miller of Fischer, Indiana, brother John Spear, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. Khan and Dr. Kellogg. The family would also like to thank the 3rd and 4th floor nursing staff of Springfield Regional Medical Center for the exceptional care and compassion shown towards Anna and her family.
