Leon Edward Fosner, aged 94, passed away early on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Leon was born on August 12, 1919 to Carl and Theresa Fosner. He proudly served his country with the United States Navy during WWII. Following the war Leon worked for The United States Postal Service as a building Superintendent until retirement. He was an amateur radio operator W8IQD, and enjoyed golfing, and history. He will be remembered as an honest, sensitive man who took care of family. Leon was preceded in death by his parents, and his son David. Surviving are his wife Virginia, children; Holly (Frank) Junge of Bossier City, LA, Jim (Donna) Fosner of Kemp, TX, Steve Fosner of Sparta, MI, and Linda (Paul) Ramey of Kent City, MI. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Please join his family for visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park.
