age 87, passed away on October 25, 2013, after a long illness. Born in Winchester, Kentucky, he had been a resident of Lake Worth since the age of seven. He graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1944. Harold served in the Navy during World War II and the Air Force Reserve as a student at the University of Kentucky. Harold graduated with highest honors from the School of Journalism. He was the advertising manager of the Lake Worth Leader with most of his working career in management and as vice president in the tire industry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jeanne Hawks Fleenor, his three daughters: Judy Williams (Tom), Debbie Lott (Bruce) and Jeanne Reddish. He also had seven grandchildren: Amy Williams (Tommy), Megan Palumbo (Mike), Robert Simmons (Terrie), John Simmons (Andrea), Rachel Gibbs (Jesse), Jonathan Reddish (Angie), Chase Reddish and nine great grandchildren: Jamie, Jordan, Cossette, Chloe, Mason, Lia, Tyler, Jillian and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father, George Fleenor, his mother, Thelma Waller and stepmother, Bird Fleenor. A member of the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels of Lantana Florida, he served many years on the vestry. A private graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens for family members.
