M.L. Corky Miller, 83, of Greenwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was retired from Phillips Petroleum, and a veteran of the Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member, deacon and prayer warrior at Greenwood First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Jean of the home; two sons, John Miller and his wife, Zeena of Greenville, SC, Scott Miller and his wife Jill of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Jeanne Harvey and her husband, Ken of Pearland, TX; one brother, Jack Miller of Guthrie, OK; one sister, Mary Kay Miller Wilson of Kremlin, OK; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha May Miller.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be at Greenwood First Baptist Church on Friday from 1-8 p.m. where the family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ken Harvey, Randy Harvey, Jack Lee Miller, Joshua Miller, Matthew Miller and Theo Miller.
