Frank Wallace Ferguson, 99, of St. Clair Shores died October 30, 2013. He was born April 4, 1914 at home on Washington Boulevard in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Harmon T. and Sarah Smith Ferguson. He served in the U.S. Army under General Omar Bradley in his war map room. After WWII, Frank graduated from Ohio State University. He taught high school industrial arts for several schools including 20 years at Lakeview High School, St. Clair Shores. In retirement he became a master carver who was active with the Fort Myers, FL, Madison Heights, MI and the St. Clair Shores Senior center Carvers. Beloved husband of the late Edith Maurer Ferguson of 57 years. Loving father of David (Elaine), Steven and Matthew (Julie). Dearest grandfather of James Stevenson, Jon and Marc Ferguson, Alexandria, Zachary and Connor Ferguson and great-grandfather of 7. He was predeceased by a very special friend Marthanna Thurman, his only daughter Rebecca Ferguson Stevenson, granddaughter Jennifer Carnaghi and his two sisters. Visitation Saturday 1-7 pm with sharing of memories at 7 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
