Larry (Lazlo, Detour) DiTuri of West Nyack, NY, 42, passed away on November 2, 2013. He is survived by his loving parents Wanda and Larry, his wife Debra, and his sons Lorenzo and Nicholas. He is also survived by his sister Laurell, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and six nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank. Larry was a Jack of all trades, pursuing knowledge in all that interested him. He was a certified Mercedes Benz Elite Technician, a beloved Tennis Pro, a commercial truck driver, a humanitarian, a dog lover and a food critic. He was a member of the Desmo Ducati Riding Club, and a Ducati enthusiast. Larry had an infectious smile, and a kind and generous heart. He gave the best bear hugs, and was proficient at imitating monkeys, tigers, vampires and giants. He believed in tickle torture, pre-bedtime wrestling sessions, and the Hungry Caterpillar. He was loved profoundly and will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. A Mass will be held on Thursday, 10am at St. Francis Church, West Nyack. “Yeah, you were there”. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry’s name to the Eleventh Hour Rescue, P.O.
