David Freeman, 70, of Alma, AR, passed away after years of multiple illnesses Friday November 8th, 2013. He lived to celebrate his 70th birthday November 3rd with his family and friends around him. He was born November 3, 1943 in Little Rock, AR to the late George and Helen Freeman. He was retired from the Oil and Gas Industry. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Celebration of his life with visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 12th, 2013, at Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by his loving wife Tanya, two sons Mark Freeman and wife Shelby of Sedalia, MO and Matthew Freemen and wife Pam of Alma, AR, one sister Dian Freeman Layman of Fort Smith, one grandson Brennan Freeman of Alma, AR, nephews Kevin Layman and wife Gloria of Little Rock, AR and their sons Alex and Sean, Brian Layman of Fort Smith and his daughter Lacey and Craig Layman of Fort Smith, beloved niece Kim Layman (mother of Lacey Layman), of Fort Smith and his extended family Larry and Flicka Hall, Bob and Barbara Johnson, Gayle and Susan Mason, Vince Scamardo and Brad Green.
