Mark Fetter Goldman, 86, entered into Heaven peacefully November 26, 2013. After complications from surgery. He was born in Shamokin, P.A. Mark’s creativity in wood carving became his job as a carpenter, creating things from furniture, porch swings to restoring their lovely home. He enlisted in the navy during World War II then settled in Jacksonville, FL. He was a member of the VFW and proud member of the NRA.
Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Phoebe, granddaughter Carly A. Driscoll, grandson David Brim. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, of 39 years, his daughters, Kathy Driscoll (Jim), Renee Brantly, his sons Randy Goldman (Nadine), Ronnie Brantly (Sandy), Brother Thomas Goldman, 6 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends at The Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00-8:00P.M. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00A.M. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Glynlea Grace United Methodist Church 6429 Atlantic Blvd.
Interment will follow immediately after at Greenlawn Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. Pastor Bruce Galloway will officiate and Pastor Butch Jerrell will assist.
In lieu of flowers the families wishes are for donations in his memory to the Glynlea Grace United Methodist church, 6429 Atlantic Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32211.
