Donald Andrew Lund of Ann Arbor passed away at his home on December 10, 2013. He was born in Detroit on May 18, 1923, to Marguerite and Andrew Lund. Don was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan where he excelled in three varsity sports. He went on to have a professional baseball career which led to a career in coaching, scouting and athletic administration. He retired as an associate athletic director with the University of Michigan in 1992. Don is survived by his daughter Susan (Bruce) Allison, grandson Don Allison, granddaughter Elizabeth (Alex) Martin, and two great-grandchildren, all of Ann Arbor. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty, and his sister Virginia (Bill) Lyle. A memorial service is planned for December 17th at 12pm at First Presbyterian Church, 1432 Washtenaw, Ann Arbor.
