MARJORIE H. MASTERS
Marjorie H. Masters, 87, of Kimberly, Idaho passed away Thursday evening, January 2, 2014 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Marjorie was born on December 21, 1926 in Knowles, Oklahoma the daughter of Clyde and Bertha Brunner Smothermon. She grew up and attended schools in Oklahoma and Kansas.
In 1947, Marjorie married David Rowe. They had two children, Don and Robert. They later divorced. On October 2, 1965, Marjorie married Alvin Masters in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Marjorie was a active member of the Rebecca Lodge, Women of the Moose Lodge, and Kimberly Methodist Church.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Don Rowe; two sisters, Virginia Hoppock and Clydeen McFarran; as well as 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving is great number of loving and caring extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; one son, Robert Rowe; step-son, James Masters; brothers, Lloyal Smothermon and Wyatt Smothermon as well as her sister, Enid Burtrum and one grandchild, Shasta Rowe.
A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls with Pastor Gary Ross officiating. Moose rites by the Women of the Moose Lodge. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A viewing for family and friends will take place on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at White Mortuary, Twin Falls.
Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
