Born February 19, 1931 to Burton and Agnes (Fulton) Botsford, passed away January 20, 2014 at the age of 82. Leta was born and raised in Williamston and spent her adult years in Okemos with her husband David McKinley. Leta worked for Okemos Public Schools Transportation Division for 35 years and loved children. Leta also enjoyed retirement and spending time with family and friends at the cottage in Northern Michigan. Leta also enjoyed gardening, boating, collecting stamps and watching her grandchildren grow up. Leta is survived by her husband of 59 years David McKinley, daughter Cindy Blair, son John (Beth) McKinley, twin sister Leota Botsford, grandson Sean (Delaney) McKinley, granddaughters Sarah McKinley, Jessica Burgess and Allison Burgess-Rammel and three great-grandchildren, brother and sister in-law, nieces, nephew and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday January 24, 2014, at Williamston Free Methodist Church, 4400 N. Williamston Rd. Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Williamston Free Methodist Church Benevolent Fund.
