Ed was self-employed and ran his own contracting business in San Diego.
Ed is survived by his four children: Elizabeth Acosta 37, Jennifer Gibson 36, Margarita Vieaux 32 , Matthew Acosta 27. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Ed loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing board games such as Trouble, Mexican Train, and Continental. He loved most sports, such as basketball, racquetball, and football. Ed was a social butterfly, so at any event, you would find people gathered around him to hear a few stories, past or present. He was a very loving and giving man who left too soon and will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held on Monday Feb 10 at 8:45 at St. Timothy’s Church in Escondido with mass to follow at 10am.
