Otto J. Sodoma, 81, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Thurs. February 6, 2014, at his home. Born in Newark, NJ, Otto lived in South Plainfield before moving to Manchester in 2000. He worked as an engineer and technician for several companies, including AIRCO and IBM. Otto served in the US Army during Korean Police Action as Intelligence Sergeant 3rd Infantry. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, KWVA and BPOE. Otto was also a member of the Westernaires, Service Club, Ping Pong Club, Irish club and participated in ceramics, of in Leisure Village West and parishioner of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Otto is survived by his two sons; Mark Sodoma of FL and Eric Sodoma of GA.
Visitation will be on Monday February 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday February 11, 2014, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Route 70, Manchester, NJ, with Interment and Military Honors to follow at the Brig. WC Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
