Wanda Janet Rogers, 83, foreman at Harris Semiconductor, Melbourne, Florida, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House of Palm Bay. She was born in Columbus, Mississippi, and came to Brevard County in the 1960’s from Mobile, Alabama. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Northern VA.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Thomas Rogers; children, Cheryl Joan Vickers and Ken Vickers; sisters, Shirley Cline and Joan Hilterman; grandchildren, Jason and Micah Dove, Arielle DeVaux, Kea Vaughn and John Vickers; and great-grandson Elliot Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her brother Reed Feast.
She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a devoted fun-loving friend to many. Wanda was creative and made beautifully crafted dried flower arrangements as gifts for family and friends. In her retirement, Wanda and her husband Tom traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
Visitation will be held at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 S. US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955 on Friday, February 14, from 10-11am with services at 11am. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida in honor of Wanda Janet Rogers.
