Frank J. Alberti, 92, of Palm Bay died Saturday (3/15) in the Palm Bay Hospital. A native of Staten Island, New York he came to the Palm Bay area 23 years ago from Staten Island. After moving to the Palm Bay area he became a member of the Faith Baptist Church. He had been a Trainmaster for the New York City Subway system prior to his retirement. Frank was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Army under General D. Eisenhower. He had also been a member of the Palm Bay Senior Center. A wood working craftsman, Frank worked with his hands and made furniture and other items of wood. Frank was also a fisherman in is youthful years, and enjoyed being out on the water bringing home enough fish for all the family and neighbors.
Preceded in death by his wife Mamie and son Frank, he is survived by his daughter, two sisters, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
