Retired Postal Clerk HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Lillian Lucile Sizemore, another member of America's Greatest Generation, was lost to us on March 18, 2014. Lucile was like so many women of her generation that had to keep the home front going while the men were fighting WWII. There are no statues to acknowledge their contributions. They worked, supported their families, and reared the children. Without them the generation that followed would have been lost. Private graveside services will be held at West View Cemetery. She has gone to join her loving husband, James O (Mutt) Sizemore and Mother, Myrtle Leopard Mills. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Jo Ann Sizemore and Jean Sizemore Bach; her grandchildren, Regina Bach Duncan (Jeff), Shannon Lucile Saxon (Roy) and Richard R. Bach; her great grandchildren, B.G. Teague, (Kim), Kristy Fortune (JR), Joshua Saxon, and Megan Bach; her great-great grandchildren, Haley Teague, Harrison Teague and Liam Daniels. She will also be missed by her Missy. The 1931 Swimming Champion of Augusta was 100 years old. We will be forever grateful to the wonderful care givers of the University Health Care System Hospice Service: Carol Mulherin, Michaela Pennington, and Race Lariscy. Their warm and caring support was invaluable to our family on this journey. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/augustachronicle/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=170246791#sthash.RsUfHZ1a.dpuf
