Mrs. Harral was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas on July 19, 1925. She graduated from Ft. Stockton High School in 1942. She married William R. Harral on June 12, 1948 and remained married for 65 years.
She worked as a Civil Engineer for the Texas Highway Department for 30 years and then was a City Engineer for Midland County for 18 years.
She enjoyed her family, reading, Bible study, music and travel. She was also actively involved in the First Baptist Church choir and other church related activities.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Edward Petsch; mother, Fannie Warnock Petsch; and her brother, Harry Edward Petsch Jr.
She is survived by her husband; and her two daughters, Dr. Ann E. Harral from Amarillo and Deena M. Harral from Midland.
The “Celebration of her Life” will be held at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2014 with David Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hospice, or a charity of choice.
