Wednesday, we lost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and true friend. Myrtle Horne Marapese, 84, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 surrounded by her family. We find comfort in knowing our beloved Mimi will suffer no more, and that now she has a better understanding of our Lord. We hurt from our loss, but rejoice because she is now fulfilled with joy and peace. We are grateful for the time we shared together, and celebrate all of the wonderful memories. One day we will find happiness knowing that a part of our hearts are going with her to heaven. We understand it will be hard, but we take with us her smile, her gentle kindness, and her unconditional love. May her spirit travel gracefully to paradise.
