Mrs. Eleanor Mae Albertz (nee Aagesen) departed this life peacefully at home on March 31, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Rye, New York on September 29, 1926 and a long time resident of Lake Worth and Singer Island, Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty three years, August (Bud) Henry Albertz. She will be affectionately remembered by her four children, Paul (Robin) and Phillip (LeeAnn) both of Tequesta, Fl, Mathew of Stuart, Fl and Nancy of Jupiter Fl.; seven grand-children and two great grand-children. Eleanor loved life to its fullest, she volunteered at the Norton Art Gallery in West Palm Beach, was a Eucharistic Minister and lector at St. Francis Catholic Church in Riviera Beach. She was an avid swimmer participating in the Senior Olympics in Raleigh, North Carolina. She won numerous metals for her distance in swimming and when in North Carolina she enjoyed hiking with the Nantahala Hiking Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, Fl at 11 AM Friday April 4th.
