Michael John Rohde, 65, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away the morning of Sunday, March 30th. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on January 11, 1949, to Theodore & Mary (Hoben) Rohde who preceded him in death along with his brother, Theodore A. Rohde. He earned a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and a MBA from the University of Michigan. Mike worked 18 years as a Controller for Bechtel Power & then for Domino’s Pizza and was instrumental in the construction of Domino’s Farms. He then spent 23 years working with Real Estate One of Ann Arbor. He was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle, an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and supported many charities in the community; including Relay for Life and Right to Life. He is survived by his wife, Teri Rohde, and six children. He was a loving father to his two sons, Damian & John, and his four daughters and their spouses, Gina & Michael Perry, Mary & Michael Chelone, Catherine Rohde, & Anne Rohde. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Isabelle & Grant Perry. Mike was well loved by his family and friends. He was kind, generous and helpful to everyone he met and will be greatly missed in the lives of his loved ones and in the community which he treasured. The lessons he taught and the love he gave will be forever cherished. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 5th, at St. Thomas the Apostle, 530 Elizabeth Street in Ann Arbor at 1 pm with a reception following at 2:30pm in the Parish Hall.
