JARVIS, Charles Wayne, 79, of Plant City entered into rest April 4,2014. Charles was a fuel truck driver for Presto Foods for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean Conflict. Charles loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Charles' care giver Amanda Coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lorine Jarvis; brothers, Gary and Sherril Jarvis. Survivors include sons, Wayne Jarvis; Kenny Jarvis; daughter, Deborah Ingersoll (Chuck); step-daughters, Glenda Stary, Sylvia Fleming; sister-in-law, Helen Jarvis; nephews, Dale, Lee, Paul, Gary; niece, Darbie; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society in Charles' memory.
