Frank H. Brullo, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Chandler, AZ after a long illness. He was born January 28, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1953, Frank moved to Yuma from Lakewood, California. He was employed with Barnette Air Conditioning for 3 years, Reddy Rents for 16 years, and Stephenson Realty for 24 years. Frank was a member of Elks and Knights of Columbus. He was an active member at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was also an avid golfer, umpire for Yuma Parks and Recreation, VIP Volunteer for the Yuma Police Department, and a Starter and Marshall at Desert Hills Golf Course. Frank also taught Real Estate Classes for Licensing and was the President of the Yuma Board of Realtors.
Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan Brullo of Whittier, CA; daughter, Camy Brullo of Whittier, CA; brother, Joe Brullo of Escondido, CA; granddaughters, Nikki Brullo and Chrissi Brullo of Tucson, AZ; 5 nieces; 1 nephew; and 3 cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Brullo; father, Rosario Brullo; and mother Carmella Deschwanden.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father Rusty on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1815 S. 8th Avenue, Yuma. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at a future date.
